Mckinleyville Community Skatepark

The first phase of the McKinleyville Skatepark was completed in October 2023 by Primary Concrete, with plans to expand the park further. The expansion would be completed in two phases, extending the park west toward the fire station and south toward Gwin Road. The existing first phase is 5000 square feet and features obstacles for all skill levels. However, it is small in its capacity to serve many riders at once. The second phase aims for an additional 6,400 square feet featuring a bowl surrounded by additional obstacles. The cost for this phase is projected to be approximately $250,000. The MSPO and Humboldt Skatepark Collective are currently raising funds for this next phase.
